  • Planning Underway for AHC's 2018 Issues Forum The American Horse Council (AHC) is pleased to announce that 2018 National Issues Forum will take place on Tuesday, June 12th at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC. The theme will be “Let’s Capitalize On It!” and will focus on ways the equine industry can learn and grow from both equine and outside industry segments as wellas expanding technology beneficial to both humans and equines. “This year we wanted to bring in a combination of equine industry and outside industry speakers,” said AHC President Julie Broadway. “It’s always interesting to hear from outside segments about what they are doing to cultivate their own industries and how the equine industry itself can learn and grow from what ...

  • 2018 Fall CSHC Conference with Trails Event Our Fall conference will be a joint event with the National Equestrian Trails Conference and held in Arizona in early November.  The Conference is being planned with a focus on trails.  But there will be other topics scheduled through out the weekend that will be on general interest to non trail riders because our Councils have a broader interest than just trails.  We will still have our business meeting on Sunday.The dates will be November 2 - 4 and you should plan on flying into Phoenix.  This area is so unique and fun that the planners encourage you to come early and stay late.  To encourage you the discounted hotel rates can be expanded beyond the conference dates.  And the ...

  • The AHC’s Spring 2018 Annual Meeting The AHC is pleased to announce that its 2018 Annual Meeting and National Issues Forum will take place from June 10-13, 2018 at the Capital Hilton in the heart of Washington, DC. The Capital Hilton is a new venue for the AHC's Annual Meeting, as the past several years the meeting has been held at the Washington Court Hotel just a few blocks from Capitol Hill. In 2018, the AHC decided to give meeting attendees a glimpse of a different part of DC with a hotel that is just two blocks from the White House.
