Due to continued concerns for the health and safety of all members, industry partners, volunteer leaders, staff and other stakeholders during the COVID-19 pandemic, the American Horse Council (AHC) announced today that the 2021 Annual Meeting that was scheduled to take place in Denver, CO will be held virtually. The dates for the reimagined 2021 Annual Meeting will be the week of June 14-18, 2021

Throughout the pandemic, AHC has relied on CDC, federal and state-by-state event restrictions and member surveys to gauge how to best conduct meetings. Given the current pace of COVID-19 vaccine roll-out and member comfort in participating tied to whether they are vaccinated, AHC has concluded it’s not possible at this time to guarantee the success of an in-person, multi-day annual meeting.

While this is disappointing—both for AHC and its members, and for our scheduled 2021 host city Denver—we are shifting all efforts to ensuring that this Annual Meeting delivers the best content and experiences possible for our many stakeholders.

Thank you for your understanding and for being part of the AHC community. We hope to see you at the reconfigured 2021 Annual Meeting and at future in-person events when it’s fully safe for us all to meet.
Details about the June 14-18th virtual meeting will be forth coming as speakers and logistics are finalized.

Please note that AHC plans to host it’s 2022 meeting in Washington DC and the 2023 meeting in Denver, CO.
